About Nakamura Foil
My grandfather, Nakamura Tonoyokichi, founded the gold leaf manufacturing business in 1935, and since then, we have been manufacturing and selling Kanazawa gold leaf and bordered gold leaf for four generations.
Kanazawa Gold Leaf
It is said that the gold leafing in Kanazawa began in 1595 when Maeda Toshiie, the founder of the Kaga domain, ordered that silver leaf be made in Nanao and Kanazawa.
